New Year Drop Off

This is the week that a lot of people’s enthusiasm around their fitness goals that they started in January begin to wane. You begin to lose motivation and find reasons to not continue on your path to better health.

This is the time to dig in and find ways to continue to achieve what you set out to achieve. Don’t give up, find some support. It is easier to stick to something if you can find a training buddy, join a group, start a team sport, or get a programme from your gym.

If you can afford a personal trainer this is the quickest and most reliable way of reaching your fitness or weight goals. Affording a personal trainer may be more realistic than you thought. Think about what you could sacrifice to treat yourself to a six-week programme with a PT. Look at where you may waste money ie coffees, takeaways, going out for dinner, alcohol, treats, clothes, etc. It will be worth the sacrifice as they can get you where you need to be to achieve your target whatever that may be, running a marathon, weight loss, muscle gain, body toning, or general fitness.

Just remember this is about investing in you, your health and your quality of life, what could be more important.
